300 Years of Baptists in Virginia

Feature-Image2_1404In May of 1714, English Baptists sent the first Baptist minister to Virginia and soon after his arrival, the first church was planted.

To commemorate this historic anniversary, two special events have been planned.

On Friday evening, May 16, an evening of remembrance and thanksgiving will take place at River Road Church, Baptist, Richmond. On Saturday, May 17, a Heritage Festival for all ages will take place on the campus of University of Richmond.
