The Church Weekday Education Conference provides training, ideas and networking opportunities for teachers and directors of faith-based weekday preschool programs and can be counted as part of the required training hours.
Each daylong conference consists of a plenary session and four breakout sessions, including breakouts specifically for directors. Check each event webpage for the schedule and breakout topics for that conference location. Lunch is included.
Deadline to register for the Richmond conference is July 20; deadline for the northern VA (Stafford) conference is September 7.
The two conferences are scheduled from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
Tentative Conference Schedule:
- Check-in: 8:30 a.m.
- Welcome: 9:00 a.m.
- Plenary session: 9:15-9:45 a.m.
- Breakout 1: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
- Breakout 2: 11:15-12:15 p.m.
- Lunch: 12:20-1:20 p.m.
- Breakout 3: 1:20-2:20 p.m.
- Breakout 4: 2:35-3:35 p.m.
