Ignite is a retreat for middle school students that is high energy weekend designed to ignite a passion for the faith journey of your middle school students through Bible studies and meaningful worship. Ignite focuses on a person from the Bible each year, allowing them to connect and develop a passion for Scripture.
Journey is a retreat for high school students and is designed to give students the tools they need to be lifelong learners, leaders and disciples of Christ. Each year, the retreat will focus on one spiritual discipline and breakouts will include personality and spiritual gifts assessments all designed to equip them for a life of faith now and the journey ahead.

Forum (formerly Youth Ministry Forum) is a two-day training event that occurs each May for youth and young adult ministers.
Youth Pastor Cohorts
The Congregational Field Staff can connect you with other youth pastors in a similar setting for fellowship, shared learning and prayer in a small group setting.
Certification in Youth Ministry
The Certification in Youth Ministry is ideal for those who are involved in or are interested in a life-time commitment to ministering to youth and their families. The program is offered through the BGAV Ministry Equipping Network and includes four Core Courses that provide a foundation for biblical teaching and developing a discipleship ministry to reach across age groups. In addition, concentration courses in Youth Ministry are designed to help participants gain knowledge and understanding of strategies and models necessary for developing a balanced and relevant youth ministry in the local church.
Youth Ministry Training
Interactive online courses in Youth Ministry are available through the BGAV Ministry Equipping Network. These courses can be taken individually or as part of the Certification in Youth Ministry. Courses include Youth Ministry 101, Best Practices of Teaching Youth, Choosing and Evaluating Curriculum, and other Youth Ministry electives.
Churches, Associations, or other groups may arrange for onsite training for a group of participants. All costs involved in travel including meals, hotel and honorarium for the instructor will be covered by the organization providing the onsite training.
