Hampton, VA – During the Wednesday business session of the 194th annual meeting, members of the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) voted unanimously to approve the 2018 budget of $10 million.
“This is the same as the 2017 budget,” explained David Washburn, BGAV Treasurer, “in that Virginia Missions and Ministries, Partners in Virginia, and World Mission Causes remain the same. There are some small reallocations within the Virginia Missions and Ministries portion of the budget.”
Meeting attendees had an opportunity to attend a breakout session with members of the executive board on Tuesday afternoon in order to ask questions and offer comments about the proposed budget.
