The Baptist General Association of Virginia, in partnership with World Relief Immigration Legal Services, is pleased to offer an intensive, 40-hour immigration law training. The training is designed for staff and volunteers in a non-profit agency or a local church who are seeking to become Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) accredited to offer immigration legal services to low-income immigrants.
Topics covered include: the Grounds of Inadmissibility and Deportability; Family Petitions; Consular Processing and Adjustment of Status; Removal Proceedings and Cancelation of Removal; Special Immigrant Juvenile Status; U and T Visas; Violence Against Women Act; Registry, Legalization, Family Unity and NACARA Adjustment; Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA); Board of Immigration Appeals Recognition and Accreditation program; and much more.
