See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19 NIV)
Innovative Ways to Disciple (Tony Brooks)
Come join me to learn about new ways to disciple others from one on one to small groups, and more.
See How They Grow (Kim Eskridge)
How can we teach the love of Christ to children in a meaningful way that reaches them where they are?
From Praying to Planning (Lance King)
How might a congregation develop a strategic plan conceived by the Spirit and born of the prayerful imaginations of parishioners? A well-compiled spiritual strategic plan can guide your congregation to a year of purposeful ministry.
Guests Are Typically Looking for More than a Visitors Card (Greg McCormick)
A new person or family who chooses to attend your church made an investment of time and energy. They are likely taking a risk of stepping into the unknown. Are we willing to invest in them? Consider how to appropriately disciple new church attendees and equip them for leadership. Hint: It’s all about relationship!
Rethinking Evangelism and Culture (Mike Pumphrey)
The landscape of the church in North America looks more different than it ever has. As leaders are asking questions of the future, we cannot lose the importance of ReThinking our evangelistic efforts. Though our efforts must look different than yesteryear, the Spirit is moving. We must learn to follow into His Mission.
What are You(th) Willing to Do? (Danny Quirin)
What on earth does a volunteer and church need to do in order to be attractional to this generation of teens for heaven’s sake?
Dealing with Differences to Prevent Serious Conflict and Resolving Disputes Before They Escalate into Conflict (Cynthia Shackelford)
God creates each of us as unique individuals who think, act, experience and communicate very differently. These differences allow us to strengthen our churches but can also provoke divisions and conflict. Our challenge is to learn how to address differences so that they strengthen rather than divide.
Fresh Expressions (Gannon Sims)
How can we in the Church embrace our heritage as the body of Christ while engaging those who don’t even know they need to be part of that body? Come and learn how Fresh Expressions can be a gift to your church as you seek to reach your community for Christ.
Leading Your Church into Your Community (Jerry Stanfield)
My session will deal with how a church can use creative ideas to get out of the four walls of the church and into the community to do missions and ministry as a means to reach its community for Christ.
Beyond the Plate (Jeff Ukrop)
Giving cash, writing a check or transferring dollars electronically are not the only ways for an individual to support the ministries of the church. From a provision in a will to a gift of stock, there are many ways for church members to give “beyond the plate” but most of the time members are not aware of the options. In this session, you will learn about the different ways individuals can give so you’ll be prepared to educate church members about charitable methods “beyond the plate.”
