Each person will choose one of the following six tracks (2.5 hours each):

Fresh Expressions:  Reimagining your mental model for church (Gannon Sims)

In session one we will define what a Fresh Expression of church is, explore why it matters and how it’s formed.  Session two will continue by looking closely at how churches and associations can develop Fresh Expressions of church.

Healthy Communication in the Midst of Change (Cynthia Shackelford)

Healthy communication is critical to sustaining and advancing relationships among believers.  Putting love in action takes real effort; we must step forward to give and get feedback, to agree to disagree, and to forgive as the Lord calls us to forgive.  Relationships between and among believers are our witness to the world.  Achieving healthy communication in the midst of change is the focus in this breakout.

Let’s Talk Preschool Ministry (Melissa Kessler)

From how we create a welcoming and safe space to how we communicate and learn with preschoolers, we’ll cover a bit of everything and equip you with some great ways to enjoy this wondrous age range.

See How They Grow (Kim Eskridge)

How can we teach the love of Christ to children in a meaningful way that reaches them where they are?

What are You(th) Willing to Do? (Danny Quirin)

What on earth does a volunteer and church need to do in order to be attractional to this generation of teens for heaven’s sake?

Next Level Church (includes 3 x 50-minute sessions)
Choose one of the following for your first session (50 minutes):
Anticipatory Worship (Jonathan Hilliard)

Worship planning is a weekly task for pastors and there is usually a method to the madness. As worship planners we know how to list worship items in the bulletin but often fall short when planning how to smoothly transition from one listed moment to the next. This class will elaborate on ways to create an overall flow to your church’s worship experience by looking at worship in an anticipatory perspective.

Miracles Still Happen (Cindy Elmore)

Come celebrate how the Lord uses our gifts both now and in the future to transform lives and strengthen ministries.

Choose one of the following for your second session (50 minutes):
Small Groups (Joe Cornell)

The benefits of “small groups” that meet in the home.

Young Adult Discipleship in a New Decade (Welford Orrock)

We’ll discuss the spiritual challenges that young adults face today and discover how these new complexities can create new unique opportunities for the church to engage and equip this emerging generation of Kingdom leaders.

Choose one of the following for your third session (50 minutes):
Innovative Ways to Disciple (Tony Brooks)

Come join me to learn about new ways to disciple others from one-on-one to small groups, and more.

Moving Members to Serve on Mission in Their Community (Glenn Maddox)

Churches have people who bring a variety of gifts to the table. This session will focus on helping them offer their best to God’s Kingdom, starting in their own communities – learning through experiences with Impact Mission Camps and Disaster Response.
