For decades, Music and Worship Arts Camp has been a fun, formative experience for generations of students and teachers! Read what one pastor has to say about the many ways it has enriched his life and ministry:
Music Week at Eagle Eyrie has been a part of my life since elementary school. I came as a camper each year it was offered. I came as a staff intern when I was too old to be a camper. I came as a Minister of Music where I taught classes and led worship. Most recently as a Pastor, I wrote devotions for the campers’ quiet times.
The experiences at Music Week offered me such a rich opportunity to grow in and enjoy music and worship arts and to share that experience with the larger Music Week “family.” I learned what it sounded like when I joined my voice in a choir with hundreds of friends, singing praise and offering back our voices to God.
Thank you, Virginia Baptists, for being a singing/playing/creating people who give the next generations the opportunity to grow into worshipers and worship leaders! Alan Miller, pastor of Orange Baptist Church in Orange, VA
