The Latino Network of Virginia Baptists seeks to promote the work of both Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking congregations in Virginia. The Network also stresses the importance of encouraging English-speaking congregations to adopt a multi-cultural mentality which fosters a sense of hospitality toward and outreach among their Latino neighbors.

- Encuentro for Pastors and Leaders – Annual fellowship and training weekend each Spring.
- Pastors and Families Retreat – In August at CrossRoads Camp and Conference Center.
- Certificado en Formación Ministerial – Initiative under the direction of Averett University. Launched in 2009, this initiative offers Diploma- and Certificate-level training in Spanish for Latino pastors and church leaders.
