Last month, BGAV-affiliated New Hope Church of Lorton, Va held a meal packaging event with Feed My Starving Children.

Two weeks before Christmas, they cancelled services and worked shifts from Friday to Monday to package the meal.

The church held various fundraisers, including a 5K, throughout the year to help pay the cost of the mission event.

Their goal? 550,000 meals packed over 4 days.

Participants were invited to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #nhchairnetswag.

Despite an ice storm and power outages, over 2,400 volunteers worked hard over the weekend.

During the event they used the hashtag #nhchairnetswag to raise awareness of what was going on.

The end result? 567,000 meals!

Incredible. Watch the video below.
