Light for the Source of Light Center in Port au Prince

For years the Source of Light Center has endured intermittent electric service and extended power shortages. Pastor Ronel Mesidor has long dreamed of a solar power system for the almost 40 children living in the Source of Light Center. In July this dream came true through generous gifts from Stuarts Draft and Laurel Hill Baptist Churches, the Augusta Baptist Association, Coastal Community Church, a Virginia Baptist Foundation grant from the J.B.Watson Charitable Trust, and a special donation from one of the Source of Light’s child sponsors.
