Earlier this week, the Henrico Citizen published an article about Sandston Baptist Church’s October trip to Yendi, Ghana, to support More Than Nets.

Five members of the church traveled to the West African nation for eight days to distribute nets, visit with the people, and hold a leadership training session.

From the article:

Linda Shobe, 63 and a lifelong member of the church, said that the October trip was the most rewarding and spiritual experience she has had.

“I have wanted to do a mission trip to Africa since I was a young girl, and now I can say that I went,” she said. “God is so good to finally bless me with a chance to make a difference and help people in a profound and impactful way. I wondered if this trip would ever happen, and it finally has, and I’ve learned so much from this opportunity.”
