The Bland Ministry Center is a multi-faceted non-profit Christian social ministry founded in 1980 by the East River Baptist Association, which is a small association of only 12 churches. Recently the James River Baptist Association (JRBA) held its ninth meal-packing event for Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now). RAH is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-saving aid to the world’s most vulnerable people and works to end global hunger by 2030.
