#KingdomStories: Daily Morning Prayer Strengthens Coworkers

For quite a while, Steve Gabriel and two other men at his job in the shipyards in Hampton Roads have occasionally gathered together at work for prayer. Following a sermon series at his church, Horizon Community Church, he felt led to find ways to be a better witness among his coworkers. The result? Every day at 6:30am, sometimes as many as 15 coworkers come together for a time of prayer and devotion. Read more how Steve is helping to advance the Kingdom at his work.

More Than Nets – And More

Seven members of Olive Branch Baptist Church traveled to Yendi, Ghana in 2014 in support of More Than Nets. While there, they helped Pastor Emmanuel “Muss” Mustapha distribute nets and plant churches. After returning home to Virginia, while the More Than Nets project carried great meaning and continues to make a difference, a church member could not shake another need they saw: access to clean water.
