Help More Than Nets Reach Its Goal!

As of January 1, 2018, Virginia Baptists, working alongside indigenous church planters, have assisted in planting 280 churches in Yendi and an additional 168 in nearby locations for a total of 448 new churches. Over 20,000 people have come to know Christ, with more than 10,000 being baptized after completing a six-month study on what it means to be a Christian.

Day 2: Saving Lives One Net At A Time

Today was one of several net distribution days for the team. Thomas Reeves and Brian Bennett (both of Providence Baptist Church), Rev. Reggie Warren (Union Hill Baptist Church), and Rev. More Than Nets – And More

Seven members of Olive Branch Baptist Church traveled to Yendi, Ghana in 2014 in support of More Than Nets. While there, they helped Pastor Emmanuel “Muss” Mustapha distribute nets and plant churches. After returning home to Virginia, while the More Than Nets project carried great meaning and continues to make a difference, a church member could not shake another need they saw: access to clean water.
