Monument Heights Baptist Church is in search of a full time Lead Pastor to provide overall leadership for the church; preaching the Word of God, ensuring spiritual care, spiritual growth, and shepherding of the congregation so that the body is built up and equipped to do the work of Jesus Christ. The strength of their ministry should be reflected in the emphasis on worship, edification and outreach and their ability to promote these beliefs within the life of the congregation. Qualifications: Demonstrates a vital and growing relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, study of God's Word and demonstrating that faith through their life and work. Sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit in their life and work. Lives an exemplary life based on clear Biblical principles. Possesses strong preaching, teaching, leadership and discipleship skills. Has experience in pastoral ministry with a demonstrated ability to minister with and direct a multi-person staff. Exhibits characteristics of warmth, friendliness, empathy and sincerity. Shows commitment to local, national and international missions.
