St. Stephens Baptist Church, located in St. Stephens Church, VA in rural King & Queen County is in search of a Part-Time Pastor to serve our congregation of mostly senior members who love the Lord, are missions oriented, serve the community and represent Christ as his faithful people. The Church was established in 1842 with Sanctuary, Sunday School Building, Fellowship Hall and Church office on one complex. The church averages twenty-five active members (50+ age group, with only several youth) with an overall membership of 100+ members. Requirements: Lead Sunday AM Worship Service Wednesday Night Bible study Attend Business Meetings Attend Committee Meetings upon request Available by phone for counseling, prayer, etc. Be on-site at Church Office as needed Visit Sick Conduct Funerals Bible College and/or Seminary experience required References required Previous Experience (4-8 years) Vacation - Two weeks - Pulpit Supply budgeted Sick Leave - Two weeks - Non transferable Salary - $1800/month - Negotiable Other criteria may be added/discussed during interview process
