We are Bethesda Baptist Church and we are blessed to be situated near Buggs Island Lake, also known as John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir, as well as Lake Gaston. We embrace opportunities to share the Gospel and serve people in the Boydton area of Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Our recently retired Pastor calls our church a "Pastor's paradise." We are earnestly and patiently seeking a part-time pastor, who may be retired, semi-retired, co-vocational (or bi-vocational) and who is called to serve God in our lakeside community. We are a participating member of Baptist General Association of Virginia and the Concord Baptist Association. We seek to be a loving, friendly, encouraging, and a campers-welcome congregation! Our vision is to see and act on Gospel opportunities that emerge in our community! We are actively involved in local missions and support our national and international mission partners.
