Full time Pastor to continue the spiritual growth of Sandusky Baptist Church. The Pastor shall be in charge of the welfare and oversight of the church. The Pastor’s duties are to include: Ø Help win the lost to Jesus Christ and assist church members in providing witness to others in adherence to our mission to make and mature disciples. Ø Seek to interpret the Word of God through the Holy Spirit and convey that to the Congregation via sermons and preaching. Ø Conduct worship services and administer ordinances at regularly scheduled times. Ø Minister to the sick, bereaved, and shut-ins with special care. Ø Provide support and leadership for those programs and activities of the church designed to further God's Kingdom. Ø Preside at church-wide meetings as moderator or leader and serve as ex-officio member of committees and groups as needed. Ø Represent Sandusky Baptist Church in BGAV and civic matters. Ø Oversee and coordinate with staff, and perform administrative duties as needed. Ø Meet obligations to the church and its members in a consistently effective manner. Ø Establish reasonable office hours that should be posted in the weekly bulletin and in the church office.
