In an effort to reach more individual readers with news, inspiration, and resources, Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) is launching a printed news piece beginning August 1.

The Virginia Baptist edition of The Baptist Paper(TBP), a national digital and print media source, will appear in the center section of TBP as well as its back page, and it will include relevant articles tailored to the Virginia Baptist audience.

Content will relate directly to BGAV life in a clear combination of:

• News –  content that relates to BGAV events, celebrates church successes, and highlights church leaders’ accomplishments
• Inspiration –  content that inspires readers to further their commitment to following Jesus and service in the kingdom
• Resources –  content that is “ready to use” by churches in their work (worship resources, outreach ideas, best practices, theological content, etc.)

BGAV is entering this arrangement with TBP asa one-year trial, during which BGAV lead pastors, officers, committee chairs, and mission council members will automatically receive a free subscription.
